Apple announced the launch of its two main smartphones this year: the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus. One of the attractions is the rose gold finish, which was previously only available in special customizations from luxury goods manufacturers, and the 3D Touch technology that consists of identifying different touch intensities providing a different action for each intensity, similar to Force Touch. that already existed on Macbooks. But, what about their cameras, what news do they bring?
The resolution of the front camera, the most used for self-portraits, went from 1. 2 to 5 megapixels and was previously produced by a company called Omnivision. This Omnivision sensor was considered bad and many users complained of the (low) quality that produced the Front camera of the iPhone. Since today we have several models of smartphones equipped with good front cameras (although most do not arrive in Brazil with the name of HTC), it seems that Apple understood that it was necessary to improve in this aspect and the Rumors were reported that Sony would become the manufacturer of the front camera sensor for iPhone from this year, which was also for a long time the manufacturer of rear camera sensors for iPhone, which were highly appreciated by users and passed 8 at 12 megapixels. It may not have the best rear camera among smartphones, but it is far from a bad camera.

- So it’s good to be aware: just increasing the resolution doesn’t mean the camera is better.

In the rear camera, the main features are: lenses with sapphire glass coating and f / 2. 2 aperture; optical stabilization; capable of making videos with 4K resolution at a speed of 30 fps or Full HD at a speed of 60 fps (or even HD at a speed of 30 fps); it also has an inactive function with speeds of 120 and 240 fps; and there is the ability to take photos simultaneously with 4K videos, in which case the photos will have a resolution of 8 megapixels. The front camera will produce hd resolution videos and has a built-in Flash Retina function in which the camera turns on when it detects low light.
Technically it seems that at the photography level the iPhones 6s and 6s Plus are well served, but practical tests are lacking to confirm this and should start appearing in the coming weeks.
