The Weekly Inspiration format is an excuse to stimulate your passion for photography and invite you to participate, every week, with a photo of your creation.

  • In the new Weekly Inspiration format.
  • I’ll give you a weekly photo that will inspire you.
  • To participate.
  • You’ll need to take an “inspired” photo in some way to the proposed photo.
  • It should not be exactly the same.
  • But be linked or inspired by the proposed week photo: you can use the same theme.
  • The same type of theme.
  • Or photograph another theme and another theme but imitating the same set of lights.
  • For example.
  • Valid as long as it is clear that it was inspired by the proposed photo.
  • In terms of technique.
  • Composition or theme.
  • Otherwise it would not be valid.

The themes will be proposed on Thursday and the deadline to upload the photo will be one week, until the following Thursday when I will propose a new call with a gallery of images that I liked the most, and an exceptional among all those in the gallery. . In addition, I will upload a new photo that will be the image that will serve to inspire you during this week. You’ll have until Thursday (with the weekend in between) to capture your image (one per participant), give it a title and upload it.

We offer you several ways in which you can upload your photo to our weekly inspiration channel, remember that the idea is to upload only one photo per participant and only in one of these ways:

Honestly, after summoning inspiration last week, I was worried if I had presented an image that was too complicated, now I realize that I was completely wrong, the first intuitions matter, and when I first saw the photo, I was right. That I could wake up in you something big, beautiful, different? So thank you for being one more week, to give your best. Here’s a little sample:

The truth is, you’ve made it difficult for me, but I have to choose only one, so I come up with Antonio González Daaz’s image titled “The Invisible Man. “It is one of those photos that combines many photographic errors, but it is these well-used errors that make it special, in this case, apprehension is precisely what accentuates the burden that, at least for me, has transmitted the inspiring photo to me. A contrast between plastic suffocation and attempt. freedom of movement for which its protagonist fought.

In this photo presented, the subject becomes invisible in search of inner freedom, with the body blurred and the head hidden, because, although he is a central figure, occupying much of the space, disappears between the illuminated background and the leak. Just as the importance of people ends up going unnoticed in the chaotic environment of cities and today’s society, as we struggle to maintain the balance between keeping our identity free and remaining part of such an imperfect system from which we cannot escape. after that reflection, I’d like to end up adding that this is a good example of how such an imperfect photo can be so perfect. Congratulations Gonzalo.

Because in everyday life there is also beauty, in the broken, the abandoned, the apparent ugly can also hide a ray of beauty, it can excite or captivate, here I bring you a photograph that can inspire many different images. Be a good day to discover the corners that you have nearby and make the most of them, show us a window that will make you fall in love or play with the light, among others. Do you dare? I knew I did;).
