This time I challenge you to follow something or someone with your camera and take it out clean while the background looks completely hectic. Are you ready for the challenge?
Every week I will propose a new challenge, it is a topic that you will have to capture in photo and upload it to the Facebook page of the blog by putting in the description the keyword that I will indicate for each topic. Topics range from portraits to macrophotography, landscapes, black and white photography, or babies. The themes will be offered on Saturday, so you have the whole weekend to work. You’ll have one week to upload your photo (one photo per participant), until Friday of the following week. Friday or Saturday I will update the article with the photo that most captivated me and propose a new theme, and so on?
- I have already told you several times that the weekly challenges it is up to you to learn.
- To put into practice the advice we give you on the blog.
- So this week I offer you this challenge.
- Swipe or panning involves tracking your interest with the camera while you are photographing to get a clean rendering while the background is very unstable.
- The effects can be spectacular and the technique.
- Although it requires a little practice.
- Is not at all difficult.
- With these handy tips to get started with ‘motion sweeps’.
- You can take amazing photos.
Well, with these tips and a little patience, because if you haven’t practiced it yet, I have to admit that you probably won’t get it the first time, and I’m not saying it to discourage you, quite the opposite! If it was super easy, it wouldn’t have that much merit, would it?As a photography fan, you’re sure to accept the challenge, because what you want is to learn and overcome the photographic obstacles that stand in your way, get increasingly attractive and different images and surprise others and yourself. yes, yes? Well, if I’m right, I know, you may already be thinking about where you’re going to look for your moving “object” to “chase” it with your camera and remember aspects like the law of the look, color (or black and white) or perspective, for example, to get a more attractive image and be among the best times of the week?
As usual, to participate in this week’s challenge, take your photo to the Facebook wall of the Photographer’s Blog: In the photo description, please mention the keyword “Sweep Challenge” followed by a title of your choice.
For those who are not from Facebook, I have enabled the participation of new social networks.
Good picture
It’s amazing, when I think, “Well, this challenge will barely get involved, how hard is the subject?” then “blow to the mouth. “Forgive the family expression, but lately I hear it a lot and it defines exactly what I think, because you showed me that I was wrong and that you really like challenges, and that makes me very happy! Here’s a small sample of the large scans you’ve sent:
The contribution that I want to highlight this week is that made “from NYC” by Focus and Photo. I think it’s a fantastic balayage in terms of execution, but I also loved the composition and the feel of it. A great sensation of speed was generated and the empty asphalt under the taxi generates a negative space that reinforces the feeling of vertigo. Also, I do not know if the feeling of dizziness is a product of what the image projects or the flu I have above. Jokes aside, it is a good idea to leave more space in front of the taxi so that it can move, so that the gaze continues the path we intuit. And the fact that three taxis appear, only three (well three yellow dots because the one on the right, even if it looks like two, can be read as one), I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or is it- this with the intention of breaking the monotony and the boredom that couples generate. This creates a tension that goes very well with speed and I love the color harmony and how yellow stands out from the rest of the gray and blue tones. Congratulations to Focus and Photo for this amazing sweep! And again, thank you all for participating and putting so much enthusiasm into your learning.
