Weekly Challenge 70: Sports

After the hangover of the party, a little sport isn’t bad for getting your body up to date and getting rid of everything we ate and drank, because nobody takes away what we’ve been through, right?

Every week I will propose a new challenge, it is a topic that you will have to capture in a photo and upload it to the Facebook page of the blog by putting in the description the keyword that I will indicate for each topic. Subjects will range from portraits to macro photography, landscapes, black and white photography, or babies. Topics will be offered on Saturday, so you have the entire weekend to work. You will have one week to upload your photo (one photo per participant), until Friday of the following week. Friday or Saturday will I update the article with the photo that captivated me the most and will I propose a new topic, and so on?

  • It does not matter if you are in one hemisphere or another.
  • The sport is practiced at any time of the year and in any place.
  • This time.
  • You really have no excuse to grab your camera and go out and capture some sports footage.
  • For recommendations.
  • Read this sports photography guide.
  • And since sport is movement.
  • This article can also help you.

Try to be original, surprise us with your image and remember that sport can also transmit emotions, do you just have to see the passion that some people put on it??

Remember, football isn’t just a sport!

As usual, to participate in this week’s challenge, take your photo to the Facebook wall of the photographer’s blog: In the photo description, please mention the keyword “Sport Challenge” followed by a title of your choice.

For those who are not from Facebook, I have enabled the participation of new social networks.

Good picture

I discover disciplines I didn’t even know about?. Thank you for one more week for your participation in the challenges and for your enthusiasm. I leave you a varied gallery as an example of the fantastic images you sent us:

The image I want to highlight this week is that of Luisa María García Martínez. A “Cycling of height” for a photo of height. A beautiful image that infects the spirit of sport, reaching the goal and ending with the price of satisfaction or personal recognition. In this case, the prize is a gift from nature, a gift that goes beyond the satisfaction of achieving your goals, it is an infinite prize, just like the view it offers us. The predominant orange color conveys dynamism and energy, so necessary for sports, but with the subtlety of dawn light, so suitable for photography. The image is divided into three bands of light in a compositional stroke, just like where the rider has positioned himself, respecting very well the three-thirds rule. In this photograph, the use of aerial perspective, enhanced by the fog, is very well appreciated, which gives it more depth, thus accentuating the sensation that the cyclist seems to have when such a natural spectacle is presented to him after a ride. great effort. Wonderful photography, congratulations Luisa María and thank you for sharing it with us.
