Weekly Challenge 26: Lightweight

Once, we braved the dark, what if we did it with the light on this time? But well lit.

Every week I will propose a new challenge, it is a topic that you will have to capture in photo and upload it to the Facebook page of the blog by putting in the description the keyword that I will indicate for each topic. Topics range from portraits to macrophotography, landscapes, black and white photography, or babies. The themes will be offered on Saturday, so you have the whole weekend to work. You will have a week to upload your photo (one photo per participant), until Friday of the following week, on Saturday I will update the article with the photo that most captivated me and propose a new theme, and so on?

  • Light is a very fun subject.
  • It gives photography a lot of play and.
  • Obviously without it there would be no photography.
  • The challenge this week will be to convert the light (usually our ally to illuminate the subjects we were photographing) into the main subject.
  • “the star” or the protagonist.

Any photograph in which light is the protagonist goes well: bulb, lamp, candle, glare, flash, bulbs, any light source is valid. When photographing the light source itself, or simply its light projection on objects, any configuration is welcome. What I want is for you to take a photo in which the viewer, looking at it, the first thing you will notice is the amount of light, its shape or color.

And it’s good for us to make it a challenge: don’t think it’s easy, the light can overexpose the photo, you burn, of course, the grace of the challenge is to play with the light and get cool, fun, creative. , stunning but above all correct photos.

Enforce the rules of photography or break them if you feel like it. Remember, if you like your photo, the rest does not matter.

As usual, to participate in this week’s challenge, take your photo to the Facebook wall of the Photographer’s Blog: In the photo description, please mention the keyword?Light challenge, followed by a title of your choice.

For those who are not from Facebook, I have enabled the participation of new social networks.

Thank you for your participation. Bright

Light is the oxygen in your room. If light favors the subjects and objects depicted, what happens when she herself becomes the protagonist?Well, splendid photos, full of creativity and magic. Take a look at the following selection: there’s something for everyone and for all topics. If you’re generally lacking inspiration, trying to focus your attention on the light itself by making it the theme of the photo can revive your creativity, like that of readers who posted their photos on the social networks of the blog this week. Here is a short and very small selection.

The photo of Carla frowns as you wonder, “How the heck is this possible?” This catches your attention, lets you think for a while to try to find the trick. The composition is very correct, with the glass placed according to the rule. of thirds (or almost), a warm enveloping color associated with a vignette effect (wanted or not wanted but that was spectacular).

Carla, what’s the trick? ?
