After the break we have been offered again in summer, we return with a new edition of the Weekly Challenge. Currently on the blog, there are 22 challenges that you can still participate in, later, to test your photographic skills. Shall we go with this week’s challenge?
Every week I will propose a new challenge, it is a topic that you will have to capture in photo and upload it to the Facebook page of the blog by putting in the description the keyword that I will indicate for each topic. Topics range from portraits to macrophotography, landscapes, black and white photography, or babies. The themes will be offered on Saturday, so you have the whole weekend to work. You will have a week to upload your photo (one photo per participant), until Friday of the following week, on Saturday I will update the article with the photo that most captivated me and propose a new theme, and so on?
- This week I want you to take your camera and represent.
- In the most original way you can imagine.
- A family.
- The challenge is much harder than it looks: you can take a family photo with ease.
- What can cost you money is to make it original and different.
- A photo with Grandpa.
- Children.
- Grandchildren and aunt posing together can be interesting.
- But if you get this photo to speak.
- Let it tell something.
- Convey an emotion to everyone who sees it.
- Meets the characters represented or not.
- If he succeeds.
- He will have overcome the challenge.
Think big: it doesn’t have to be your family, it can be another family, it can be human, it can be cats. Characters can pose for the photo, or it can be taken spontaneously. It can be a family photo, as well as a photo of a frame with a family photo. Play with the focal length of the lens, with the colors and saturation, with the background, dress them all in the same color and see if you get a fun photo. Before taking the camera and photographing, think about the photo. I assure you that 50% of the photo you get even before touching the camera again.
As usual, to participate in this week’s challenge, upload your photo to the Facebook wall of the photographer’s blog: In the description of the photo, mention the keyword? Family challenge? Followed by a title of your choice.
For those who are not from Facebook, I have enabled the participation of new social networks.
Print me out? . Thank you for your participation
A good photograph is a photograph that pleases. It does not matter if you apply this or that technique, if the subject is beautiful or ugly, if the photographer respects or transgresses the rules of a good composition, if the photo is good, that’s fine. This week I saw a lot of good photos on the Facebook wall and other social channels of the blog, I saved the photos that made me vibrate the most personally.
And look, I always insist that you give the photos a title as God wanted, but this snapshot of Paloma Rodríguez deserved this week to occupy the podium of the chosen photo, because it does not seem necessary. a title: in itself it is a photo full of expressiveness. A simple photo but full of spontaneity, you cannot look at it for a few seconds and not feel part of the scene. Congratulations ?
