If last week I asked you for something static, now is the time to move you know what a sweep or pan is?It’s time to find out.
Every week I will propose a new challenge, it is a topic that you will have to capture in photo and upload it to the Facebook page of the blog by putting in the description the keyword that I will indicate for each topic. Topics range from portraits to macrophotography, landscapes, black and white photography, or babies. On Fridays topics will be offered, so you’ll have the whole weekend to work. You’ll have one week to upload your photo (one photo per participant), until Thursday of the following week. On Thursday I will update the article with the photo that most captivated me and on Friday I propose a new theme so that you have all weekend to capture your images, etc.
- This time I’ll make you sweat;).
- The scans aren’t easy at first.
- But of course.
- Who said the easy is fun or how hard is it?It’s a challenge.
- Isn’t it? Well.
- That’s it.
- A sweep (or panoramic) and black and white.
- Double challenge?.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, the cover image will have given you a lot of clues, as you can see, it’s a photograph of a moving object where it comes out sharp and the background shakes. It is very important (you can’t imagine how much) to have a proper fund, otherwise this movement will not be appreciated and the “effort” will not have been worth it. Here are some practical tips to get acquainted with the sweeping movement. I’m not advising you to miss them if you haven’t successfully practiced them before, and to switch to black and white, this article can help.
let’s go! Move! Is your camera waiting for you?
As usual, to participate in this week’s challenge, take your photo to the Facebook wall of the Photographer Blog: In the photo description, please mention the keyword “Black and White Sweep Challenge” and follow the title of your choice.
Those of you who are not from Facebook have the following social networks to participate in.
Twitter: Upload the photo directly to Twitter with the hashtag #RetoBarridoBNBdF
Good picture
It was a double challenge and you responded wonderfully well, congratulations! And thank you for being so cool? I leave you a small sample, as always:
The sweep I want to highlight this week is “Emotions” by Alyaz Ugalde Saucedo, a regular of the challenge. I find it a fantastic balayage for a number of reasons. I’m telling you. First of all, in black and white, which is pretty well crafted and includes all shades of the grayscale, which is nice to see. And as for the scan itself, it’s very well done. I love that there are so many moving parts to the ride, that is, all the people in it. This makes it much more dynamic and contributes to the feeling of speed. Another aspect that reinforces the movement is the composition, this diagonal creates an impressive tension, especially since it is downhill. He left the space right in front of the train respecting the law of the gaze, so that the photo breathes, but I think that the fact that it is directed to the left, the opposite direction from which we read the images, also gives the impression it comes. towards us, and gives even more feeling of acceleration. Or at least it seems to me? The background is also well chosen, as it is not distracting while providing enough information to understand that there is movement. !! Congratulations!!
