Today I propose a very accessible subject to practice, so there are no excuses!
Every week I will propose a new challenge, it is a topic that you will have to capture in photo and upload it to the Facebook page of the blog by putting in the description the keyword that I will indicate for each topic. Topics range from portraits to macrophotography, landscapes, black-and-white photography, or babies. On Fridays topics will be offered, so you’ll have the whole weekend to work. You’ll have one week to upload your photo (one photo per participant), until Thursday of the following week. On Thursday I will update the article with the photo that most captivated me and on Friday I will propose a new theme so that you have all weekend to capture your images, etc.
- If I challenge you to photograph something round.
- It is not only because it is something very accessible.
- If you look around.
- You will understand what I mean.
- You have more round elements at your fingertips than you imagine;).
- But because geometric shapes are very attractive to be careful because you recognize them easily.
When you insert geometric elements into your photo, even if they’re not clearly defined or closed by continuous lines, the eye recognizes them and automatically directs the view toward it. Now the challenge is to make those eyes rest there for more than a nanosecond. If you create an interesting composition or introduce a magical light, you will attract attention and perhaps an occasional sigh. Are you ready to get attention?
As usual, to participate in this week’s challenge, take your photo to the Facebook wall of the photographer’s blog: In the photo description, please mention the keyword?Round Challenge? Followed by a title of your choice.
Those of you who are not from Facebook have the following social networks to participate in.
Twitter: Upload the photo directly to Twitter with the hashtag #RetoRedondoBdF
Good picture
And after a week of waiting, here’s a brief summary of all those round elements you captured with your lens I hope you like it!
This week’s featured photograph belongs to Photo Sonntags and is titled “Monegrillo Circumpolar”. It is a very elaborate image, full of technique and patience that shows us the beauty of the sky and reminds us that we rotate in circles, that life are circles (which open and close) and that no geometric figure is as present in nature as the circle, and beyond this personal reading, photography is perfectly realized , very well composed and shows that there is a lot of passion behind this image. to their author and congratulations to the rest, they did a great job!
