Weekly Challenge 142: Adventure and Extreme Sports (15/01/2016 to 21/01/2016)

What about the sport?

Every week I will propose a new challenge, it is a topic that you will have to capture in photo and upload it to the Facebook page of the blog by putting in the description the keyword that I will indicate for each topic. Topics range from portraits to macrophotography, landscapes, black-and-white photography, or babies. On Fridays topics will be offered, so you have the whole weekend to work. You’ll have one week to upload your photo (one photo per participant), until Thursday of the following week. On Thursday I will update the article with the photo that most captivated me and on Friday I propose a new theme so that you have all weekend to capture your images, etc.

  • In our effort to make you practice and find excuses to go out and photograph.
  • This week I challenge you to photograph extreme sports and adventures.
  • And no.
  • I don’t expect you to embark blindly on an adventure.
  • In case you don’t.
  • Remember it or look at it.
  • Alexa wrote an excellent article in which she gives you some advice for this wonderful feat.

Will it be a good exercise to practice photography in general and some more specific aspects, such as shooting speed, fast focus, express composition or even panning?Sport is excitement and overcoming. Also photography, live it and make us live your image too?

As usual, to participate in this week’s challenge, take your photo to the Facebook wall of the photographer’s blog: In the photo description, please mention the keyword “Extreme sports and adventure challenge” and follow the title of your choice.

For those who are not from Facebook, I have enabled the participation of new social networks.

Good picture

I like the photos that have a title, it is one more value that gives to the image, however, there are times when this lack can be forgiven, as in the case of the star of this week, by Julio César Fernández Fernández. A beautiful photo, a risky frozen moment as well as a beautiful composition. The diagonal formed by the foam gives it the strength and dynamism that characterize extreme sports and adventure. The shot consists of three bands that make up a harmonious chromatic ensemble. The athlete is in the center, that despite the non-compliance with the regulations works very well in this case, because the natural framing offered by the foam gives him the prominence he needs, has strength, energy and movement, what more can be asked for?Julio Cesar!
