If last week I asked you to look in black and white this time I challenge you to breathe some fresh air. Yes, yes, while you read it you will have to jump to the only place where you can breathe fresh air: nature.
Every week I will propose a new challenge to you, it is a topic that you will have to capture in a photo and upload it to the Facebook page of the blog by putting in the description the keyword that I will indicate for each topic. Subjects will range from portraits to macro photography, landscapes, black and white photography, or babies. Topics will be offered on Saturday, so you have the entire weekend to work. You will have one week to upload your photo (one photo per participant), until Friday of the following week, Friday or Saturday, will I update the article with the photo that captivated me the most and propose a new topic, and so on?
- Although we have become cautious citizens.
- If we think a little.
- We will remember that in reality our “natural” environment is nature (worth redundancy).
- The environment in which we live is a world that we have created artificially and.
- Although feeling very comfortable.
- Where our body and mind live best is in the middle of nature.
- Even if you do not believe it.
- Even if you are afraid of insects or wild animals? These are all fears that we have learned that are the fault of an excess of life in the city.
That’s why I’d like you to get lost in a green (or blue) environment, you can get lost with someone or take a tripod to make yourself a self-portrait, the main thing is that you imitate the environment, that nature is the co-star of your portrait, that we envy a lot when we see your photo and that we want to run to take portraits in the middle of the forest , beach, jungle or high mountain, let us forget our fears of insects and heights and run to capture the essence of the human being in nature. Do you dare?
As usual, to participate in this week’s challenge, take your photo to the Facebook wall of the photographer‘s blog: In the photo description, mention the keyword?Portrait Challenge in Nature? Followed by the title of your choice.
For those who are not from Facebook, I have enabled the participation of new social networks.
Good picture
I leave you with the most striking portraits of this week Thank you for participating and for putting every week as much enthusiasm as we put from the blog team to maintain the possible challenges?
This week I am not going to highlight the best photo taken on a technical level, this time I am left with an image that perfectly fulfills what I asked for when offering the challenge. An image that tells a beautiful story, that moved me inside, that made me want to lose myself this weekend in a forest or in the middle of the fields. Amalia Zilio’s photography could possibly have better contrast, better sharpness or better saturation, however, all this would not make sense if it did not transmit the “magic in the forest” that it transmits. It is a simple but correct image in terms of composition and concentration, the story of which carries more force and weight than the technical details. A girl who forgets the world, an Alice in Wonderland with the rabbit as her best friend. You do not need anything else. She is part of the environment, she is camouflaged there, in fact she seems to live in this forest, more precisely in the tree behind her. The girl and the rabbit, happy in an environment where the only sounds are those of other animals, the rustle of dry leaves or the song of the wind. No pollution, no rush, no noise or light pollution, a magical place where we forget to lose ourselves, our true home, the place where we belong but do not want to look or worry. This little girl should serve as an example to rediscover our inner child, remember what is important in life, stop for a moment and, if necessary, get off this high-speed train in which we live and enjoy the scenery. . Thank you very much Amalia for imparting this magic to us and congratulations because you are on the right track in photography.
