To view (and click): Montevideo, Uruguay

I’m not as travellers as I’d like, but I think few people can get to that level, right? However, something I have always heard when it comes to going to a part of Brazil, especially in the hottest tourist sites. , what I’ve always heard is the following sentence:? Often, traveling to South America costs less than going northeast, for example ?.

Currency exchange has always made sense, but just in case, I never preferred to appropriate it until I had the experience of living this situation in the flesh, something that was possible last year during a very pleasant visit to Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, with my beloved wife Aline. This gave, of course, magnificent photographs with natural light.

  • As just arriving in the city.
  • One thing that impressed us positively was the issue of proximity to points of interest.
  • Used to proportions like the city of Sao Paulo.
  • Visit many places we wanted in addition to the addresses of friends? It was very easy and even nice.
  • Which made us feel very comfortable.

It is not very difficult to infer this issue from a logical aspect: the difference in dimensions. While the entire capital of Sao Paulo has 11 million inhabitants, 1. 5 million live in the capital of our neighbors.

Another point to note is that, when it comes to purely natural and non-urban beauties, Montevideo will not necessarily be the most charming destination on the continent, but it will have a charm that will definitely bring you back. Ramblas (walks on the banks of the Río de la Plata) with the almost urban landscape of a village forms an excellent environment.

Uruguay’s largest city has a true architectural and historical richness in its museums, monuments and churches, common themes such as the Carnival Museum (yes, ours!) Or the Tango Museum (since the first song of its kind was composed in a famous meeting point in the 10’s), even more unforgettable experiences such as the Museum of the Andes, which tells the incredible story of the survivors of a plane crash in the icy and Andean climate.

Ah, another thing we certainly can’t help but consider is how well you eat in this city, especially when it comes to meat and so-called milk candy. Simply extraordinary! Perfect place, beautiful pieces and honorable mention also for cheeses that, although not known, surprise by their excellent quality.

The end result was very positive, because economically, it was far from a “heavy” journey. We made almost every trip we wanted and we have the feeling that new photos, whether with a camera or a smartphone, we will take them in the pleasant Montevideo.
