The intention behind the photographer’s blog has always been above all to share, live and teach photography to anyone who likes to take a photo, but not only teach, teaching photography is not enough, with the Photographer’s Blog the goal has always been to teach photography in the simplest and simplest way possible, in the closest possible language. I support the theory that most of those who drop out of photography do so overwhelmed by technical terminology, by the complexity of explanations, by the “mediocre” of the teacher or person who teaches.
Teaching photography well requires not only being a good photographer, but also being a good communicator or at least worrying about communicating well, a good teaching has nothing to do with showing knowledge or overwhelming the student with a number of abbreviations and technical details. is to simplify, measure, eliminate all secondary things and first convey the essentials.
No frills.
Teaching is putting yourself in each other’s place
In these nearly 6 years of life on the Photographer’s Blog, my team and I have never spared any effort to teach and share: more than 600 articles and 5 photography books published to date, which are soon said to be able to quench hunger. of any enthusiastic photographer. Something was still missing. Something many of you have asked for and have not been able to answer so far: a photography course.
All BdF content is fantastic (apart from modesty), however, each article is about a specific facet of photography, each book is dedicated to a specific topic, tips for photographing a portrait here, how to capture a landscape, composition, cameras. , lenses, lighting, etc. , but people needed something more global, material that would teach us to enter photography from all angles, a course that will help you master photography. Reading about lighting or portraits is good but when the photographer already knows how to take photos, if you don’t have the foundation, the connection is of little use.
Every week I receive emails from photography academies that offer to advertise them here on the photographers blog, but at the same time, I’ve already lost count of the times someone asked me to recommend a photography course and I couldn’t. Photography courses that I know are very bad, too theoretical or go to the other end and are very technical, require prior technical preparation to simply be able to understand what the teacher says, some courses are very good but cost you 2000 euros because they are vocational training courses. And when I think I’ve located the perfect route for the amateur photographer, it turns out he’s at a specific physical point and that if you don’t live in that particular town or town, it’s hard for you to attend.
Many readers have asked for it. I had never publicly acknowledged it, but basically I had even asked myself the question, little by little it has taken shape and for now it is a tangible reality, I can touch it with my hand. There is already the official online photography course for the photographer’s blog. Its alive?
I shared it last week with my VIP readers, and today I publicly and openly announce it: the most important and exciting project to which I have dedicated my efforts in recent months will soon see the light, the photography course of the photographer’s blog is already a Right now we are in the final stretch, finishing tuning the content, preparing exercises , bonuses and other items. If it were up to me, would you open the course today?but there are few details, which I always like to try before presenting a project.
I can tell you that this is a video course in which we discuss all the aspects you need to know to get into SLR photography, from the choice of camera, to the story you capture in a photo, through light, composition, manual settings, modes. If you are interested, in a few days I will give you more details about the course in another article that I will publish soon.
If I estimate the amount of work needed to finish preparing everything, so, in a good way, in a few weeks or 3 at most, the course should be ready.
As is my custom, VIP readers will be the first to know the availability of the course, if you are interested, make sure you are subscribed with your email address below:
