There are rules that help us in the photographic framing of a painting or scene, the main ones are:

More than 2,000 years ago, many thinkers were interested in the so-called “golden ratio”, also known as “divine proportion”. The ratio between 2 quantities, so the relationship between the two is:

In the arts, architecture and painting, several artists over the centuries have tried to bring certain dimensions of their works closer to this proportion, believing that this would bring a pleasant aesthetic result. This curve appears in some elements of nature.
Therefore, amateur and professional photographers have imagined aesthetic arrangements where the main motif is very close to the center point of this spiral:

However, there is an alternative practical method, which, if you do not place the points in the same position as those of the spirals of the number of gold, places them very close to them:
In practice, the differences between the two can be ignored, the result will also be aesthetic.
This alternative method is called the third-party rule!
To follow the rule of third parties or the rule of three thirds, you have to imagine the viewfinder, LCD screen or monitor divided with 2 vertical lines and 2 horizontal lines, also spaced, as in a game?Tic-tac-toe:

The center of an image is not a satisfying resting point for the eye, the eye prefers to go from left to right or from right to left depending on the culture when viewing a scene, thanks to the way you learn to read. in the center of the framing, on the other hand, it will produce a silly and un memorable image. Lines like these lead to the image and give an impression of depth. Filming people poses specific problems. Models must have room to look and move; should be placed on one side of the frame so that they can look or move. This is the key to photo framing.
