Sony has unveiled a highly expected update to its famous mirrorless camera series: the a6300. With a new APS-C sensor of 24 megapixels and one?4d? With 425 AF detection points, the A6300 is located at the top of sony’s mirrorless cameras with APS-C range.
Key features:
APS-C 24MP CMOS sensor with copper cable
425 AF detection points on the sensor
Transmission at 11 ips (live view continues at 8 ips)
ISO 51200 maximum
4K video capture up to 100 Mbps
Capable of continuously taking photos up to 11 ips with AF, “high density” AF tracking on 425 collimators is one of the characteristics of the hybrid system of the a6300, which dynamically activates af points around an object and adjusts them according to the movement of the object itself. Points 425 impressively detect all the way to the corners of the frame.
Perhaps the most important news is that the A6300 is able to stream live continuously up to 8 ips, which could address one of the biggest gaps in fast-action recording of mirrorless cameras. Traditionally, mirrorless cameras tend to display only one stop-motion sequence of images from the last photo at the highest speed, making it difficult to track an object and maintain an AF collimator on it. 8 ips live viewing brings the A6300 closer to the experience of an optical DSLR. At the launch event in New York, Sony showed a video that looks like a recent Nikon DSLR camera compared to a mirrorless camera, while comparing the A6300 to a DSLR of less than $1,000. The results seemed impressive.
The a6300 is capable of capturing 4K videos up to 100 Mbps. The camera uses a 20MP (6K) sensor region to provide 4K video. Filmmakers should be able to expect clear performance, with low image noise, even in low light conditions, because almost the entire sensor is used.
