Review: Trépied VT-1800

You’re used to the FUI that gives advice on books, courses and movies, but today we open a different session: Team Review, so if you own or are in charge of marketing a brand or equipment store, send us a greeting and we will be happy to respond.

To start this idea, let’s talk about a tripod for cameras and camcorders, the Tripod VT-1800 model, sold in Brazil by eMania?Photo and video.

  • Let’s talk about weight first: almost 3 kilos.
  • Heavy? Yes.
  • But that’s the goal of a good tripod.
  • Being firm.
  • Sturdy.
  • There’s no point investing in a plastic tripod.
  • Because besides not stabilizing the camera during a long pose.
  • For example.
  • Any stumble can make everything fall flat on the face?Or rather.
  • With a lens on the floor.
  • Have you heard that cheap is expensive? In photography.
  • There’s little care.
  • And if you care about the weight when carrying your bags.
  • Don’t worry.
  • Because this tripod comes with a firm fabric case.
  • So you can take it wherever you want in great comfort.

As for practicality, does it take a while to get used to all the gears, especially if you had a tripod?Plastic? And it migrates to a very good deal, as was my case. I had a little trouble understanding how the shoe worked. from an early age, but it’s this old story: the trick comes with the instruction manual, but we’re determined to find out for ourselves. I worked everything for about 15 minutes, saw that there was no seven-headed error and then, when I first went to assemble it to try it in practice, I managed to do everything fast, without any problem.

I haven’t had the opportunity to try the video tripod, but for those who work with photos, it’s definitely a great investment! In addition to being very robust, as I mentioned at the beginning, the tripod gears are very flexible in handling, so I guess for a video where you have to rotate the camera, or something, it also works very well. And on this subject it should be mentioned: it has a semi-hydraulic and panoramic head.

The tests I did with the tripod were on prolonged exposures of the sky and water, and I was super satisfied with the result. I’m not a landscape photographer, but I took a lakeside afternoon to prove in real life what it would be like to work and I was very surprised. The tripod is super firm, and for the first time I was able to take a long exposure photo and see the details in the focus areas. Look at the photo below and zoom in on the side. Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay in the lake until very late to do an exhibition of more than 15 seconds, but the result shows a little bit what you can do with a great tripod.

I’ll leave some technical specifications here, but anything, stop at the eMania site?Photo and video, either to view the tripod or any other equipment you may need.
