This month, I have the pleasure of introducing for the “Reader of the Month” section someone for whom the word “photographer” would be too short. Rosita Lira, our reader of the month, seems to bring together a wide range of artistic disciplines: from photography to interior design, to interests such as poetry (fervent admirer of Pablo Neruda), music and art, among others.
Our reader defines heses as someone who observes, thinks and dreams too much, and loves both silence and music.
- Do I like beauty in simple things? Capturing the moment I see and live is what made my photos just special.
- Especially of everyday life.
- How many times do we keep contemplating and who expects to be seen as it is?.
This Chilean photographer recognizes that her photographic merit lies not in technique but in perception, sensitivity, which I told you once here on the blog under the name “photographic eye” if you remember it. . This sensitivity and this different way of looking at things allowed Rosita to produce amazing photographs without having to resort to an SLR camera. With a simple bridge camera, Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H10 was able to capture moments and details like the ones you can see below.
Here are links to her gallery on Flickr, her personal blog, and her Twitter account, for those who want to follow her more closely. I think he is a very inspiring person with an enviable gift for photography. I am proud to have readers like her. .
