Photoreto23: Gastronomy

I bring you a new theme for you to choose your camera and practice your favorite pastime: photography.

Our Photoretum aims to encourage you to practice photography, encourage you every week to spend time with your camera and unleash your creativity while practicing and learning.

  • The concept of Fotoreto is very simple: every Friday I will propose a new video photo theme.
  • Sometimes I will show you an example of a photo to inspire you.
  • Other times I will only give you a clue or a tip that can be applied when making the Photoretum.

Each time, you will have 7 days to participate in the Photoretum of the week in question, until the following Thursday, download it to your favorite social network (Instagram or Facebook) without forgetting the hashtag or tag corresponding to the Photoreto in question also as the mention . This week will be Photoreto23

Each week, we select a winning photo. The photo author will get the book he likes most in our BdF eBook library.

When you participate in the Fotoretum, we understand that you allow the photographer’s blog to publish your photo, under no circumstances do you give us your copyright, the author of the photograph and who maintains the exclusivity of the copyright is you.

With this new Photoretum I propose to work a subgenre of product photography, a theme that produces a double pleasure, at least for most mortals: it is gastronomy.

This week I want you to work mainly in lighting, which can be indoors or outdoors, natural or artificial. But it’s important to keep this in mind when photographing your dish and highlighting textures and other properties. Angle is also an important point when photographing a plate. Keep an eye on him and look for the best perspective. You can find a lot of inspiration in the different cooking blogs, there are some real wonders on the net.

If cooking is good for you, it’s the perfect opportunity to combine the two afitions, otherwise that’s no excuse, you can turn to someone from your environment who’s more cook than you and join forces to make a great proposal.

Another idea is to go to a nearby restaurant or bar and offer to photograph one of its dishes, obviously it would be photographed for free, for the common benefit, you can practice and the place takes a tanned photo of one of its dishes. Can you hope you can until you can prove it?

Wanting to see your photo, you can be the next winner of one of our ebooks, and don’t forget to add the hashtag photoreto23 and the mention @blogfotografo.

This Photoretum proved most appetizing, a little tortuous at times to see proposals so rich on an empty date, yes ?, but an excellent visual experience. Congratulations and thanks to everyone who participated, you can see the photos uploaded to Facebook and Instagram.

The photo presented today belongs to Patricia Gallardo Via

They say we eat first with our eyes. Looking at this photo, of course, we have to agree because it is very desirable. The image, on a technical level, has many aspects to highlight, excellent exposure, good use of blur and a very careful composition.

I like the light and controlled side, the touch of color of the cream that I take from the pumpkin, the blades of grass placed on the table that balance with those of the cream, the wood on which the pan rests that gives it a warm touch. touch, with cloth, etc. All these details make the scene envelop you, take you to the warmth of a kitchen, where the family meets, where while someone cooks, another person accompanies them with a tea, or a glass of wine while providing a pleasant conversation, where they they reveal the secrets and calm the emotions by warming the stomach.

This photograph, in addition to furiously suggesting that I try the recipe, transports me to this place full of aromas and human warmth. Thank you Patricia and congratulations.

Tomorrow a new Photoretum, which has nothing to do with Halloween night and yet can be a great opportunity to put it into practice. And so far, I can tell you, tomorrow you’ll know what it’s about, don’t miss it. ?
