Photoreto19: Bokeh

I bring you a new theme for you to choose your camera and practice your favorite pastime: photography.

Our Photoretum aims to encourage you to practice photography, encourage you every week to spend time with your camera and unleash your creativity while practicing and learning.

  • The concept of Fotoreto is very simple: every Friday I will propose a new video photo theme.
  • Sometimes I will show you an example of a photo to inspire you.
  • Other times I will only give you a clue or a tip that can be applied when creating the Photoretum.

Each time, you will have 7 days to participate in the Photoretum of the week in question, until the following Thursday, download it to your favorite social network (Instagram or Facebook) without forgetting the hashtag or tag corresponding to the Photoreto in question also as the mention . This week will be Photoreto19.

Each week, we select a winning photo. The photo author will get his favorite book from our BdF eBook library.

When you participate in the Fotoretum, we understand that you allow the photographer’s blog to publish your photo, under no circumstances do you give us your copyright, the author of the photograph and who maintains the exclusivity of the copyright is you.

This week we will practice bokeh, a really attractive effect for your photos, for this you will have to work with the maximum possible apertures, for which you will need a bright lens, preferably af / 1. 8 of / 1. 4, although this is ideal, not essential.

If you don’t have one or haven’t thought about acquiring it, for now, use the lens that offers the greatest diaphragm aperture. There are some tips for getting a better bokeh with the same opening. For example, use a longer lens, focal length, that is, use the zoom you have to the fullest. If you have a 50-200 mm, for example, shoot 200 m.

Another trick is to place the subject as far away from the background as possible, but for more information, I recommend you keep up with the depth of field, and if you want to know more about the bokeh and how to do it, keep looking down. microscope on the blog, you’ll find all the information you need.

I’m waiting for your picture! You can be the next winner of an eBook in our library.

One more week, your images and all the work behind them are amazing. Thank you very much for putting so much light and so much desire in this photoreto19. You can see all the images presented on Instagram and Facebook.

This week’s winning photograph is by David Peez (david. paez. m) and his title is:?He says he’s free, that “the virtue of dreaming makes me free,” that he must land now but he’s free, and he can’t fly anymore, but is he free?

I chose this photograph because in addition to its good execution it transmits a lot to me. I love the way you did that bokeh at sunset with the airport lights. I am impressed by the plane that looks like you can touch it with your fingers and I like that the protagonist of the image does not see his face, because so we can imagine how he will look, what his dreams will be, his desired destination, his travels and his life. I like the composition, the good use of depth of field and the warmth of the orange sky as a background of two silhouettes that tell us the story we want to dream of. Congratulations David!

Tomorrow new Photoreto, where you can write your own story and I’ve already given you an important clue, guess what?
