In any niche where you choose to work with photography, it will be necessary to specialize and study the subject in depth, always looking for more information on the Internet, reading a book, participating in workshops or even through certain courses.
However, when it comes to newborn photography, the gap is much lower, because it is a very delicate niche and that the sessions require a very specific set of care and knowledge to be able to work with this type of ‘friendly client’. Planned.

These are hard times and that is why it is important to always be prepared, to have a card up your sleeve, in short: to have some differential in your work arsenal.
And it is with this latent need of professionals in this field that the Newborn Experience was created, which will take place in Brazil between October 27, 28 and 29 of this year (2015). It will have renowned professionals in this niche nationally and internationally, being one of the main attractions of American fame Ana Brandt, Amy McDaniel and Brittany Woodall of “Baby as Art”.
The event, unprecedented in Brazil, will offer a real immersion in this niche of photography, with several workshops and? mainly? the opportunity to build or improve your networking 100%, exchanging that “hallway conversation”, in which you learn more than a thousand courses.
But in addition to the workshops, the event will include three themed conferences and some other conversation circles related to the photographer’s profession itself.
And, as if that weren’t enough, there is always the beloved Vanuza Amarante, who will be giving a talk about how to perfectly conceive an album.
The other lectures will be given by Alex Villegas, who will you talk about?Fine Arts?in newborn photography and the incredible duo of Sis foto e Design: Gabi Abreu and Camila Sasako, who will talk about the physiology and infectology of the baby, which are two very important topics for any professional in the field.
Are you already convinced that you cannot miss this fantastic event? Calm down, there’s more! To complete the team of giants and make the meeting a historic event, there will still be six photographers considered the best in our country: Carla Durante, Cris Dal Cero, Daniela Magotto, Laura Alzuera, Livia Gilberto and Simone Silvério.
Well, as the event promises to be great, in terms of learning, it will be limited and will develop into a structure that allows maximum interaction between speakers and spectators. The newborn experience will take place in a hotel in the interior of Sao Paulo, for three full days, ensuring maximum absorption by the spectators, as well as a sincere exchange of experiences between all, before, during and after the planned activities.
As we said in the previous lines, the event will be limited, so only 120 people will be accepted, which must be divided into 3 groups of 40 people each. Thus, each group will participate in one workshop, as well as one additional conference per day.
However, in order to ensure full immersion in the project, these groups will be divided into two subgroups of 20 people each, so that the subgroups will participate in the tasks at different times.
That is, in the morning the whole group will attend the theoretical part of a workshop, and in the part part, this group is divided into two. Thus, one attends a complementary conference and the other leaves for the practical part of the workshop and, in the middle of the afternoon, these subgroups are reversed.
As some more fans of the subject have already imagined, the one that organizes the event is the International Institute of Photography (IFF), which was the first institution to offer photography workshops of the newborn in Brazil and which is no more or less than the organizer of the Newborn Photo Conference, which was the first international congress in this niche.
