This will depend on the type of photography you intend to take and your situation as a photographer, if you cover, for example, sporting events and need to get very close to your protagonists but you do not have much mobility, it is possible that a zoom is the most necessary and what gives you the best results. On the other hand, if you are looking for light, sharpness, lightness and discretion at all costs, opt for a fixed lens, or you can even combine them according to the interests of the moment.
But remember, boundaries depend on you. If you only have one goal of the kit, enjoy it, take advantage of its virtues and know it to get the most out of it, as if you only had one fixed goal, the same. You don’t need a big team to take great photos, the photo is taken by the photographer and the rest is of very, very relative importance. Be happy with what you have and enjoy, good photography!
