With an open mind and ready to let inspiration invade you for another week?Let’s go for it!
The Weekly Inspiration format is an excuse to stimulate your passion for photography and invite you to participate, every week, with a photo of your creation.
- Each week.
- I will propose a photo.
- Created by a BdF reader.
- To inspire the rest.
- To participate.
- You’ll need to take an “inspired” photo somehow in the proposed photo.
- It doesn’t have to be exactly the same.
- But to be linked or inspired by the proposed week’s photo: you can use the same theme.
- The same type of theme.
- Or photograph another theme and other theme but imitating the same set of lights.
- For example.
- The photograph will be valid as long as it is clear that it is inspired by the proposed photograph.
- In terms of technique.
- Composition or subject matter.
- Otherwise it would not be valid.
The themes will be offered on Fridays and the deadline to download the photograph will be one week, until Thursday of the following week when I will update the article with a gallery of featured images, on Friday I will propose a new call with the photo of this gallery that most captivated me, creating a true photo chain that will be transmitted from reader to reader. You’ll have the whole weekend to capture your image (only one per participant), give it a title and download it.
“Weekly Inspiration” exercises will not have winners. We’ll select a “star” photo, which the network will broadcast for the next weekly inspiration. What’s going on?
Important note: With your participation you allow the photographer’s blog to use your photo in the next challenge, if you do not agree it is necessary to specify it next to the photo title so that it is not selected as the cover of the next call.
We offer you several ways in which you can upload your photo to our weekly inspiration channel, remember that the idea is to upload only one photo per participant:
It is not necessary to upload the photo to more than one medium, we review each of the photos shared in the four social spaces.
What fascinates me the most about this game? Weekly Inspiration tries to see how the same image can inspire such different photos. It is something that confirms that each person is completely different from the others and that no matter how many cameras there are, the value of the photograph is owned by whoever is behind it. Your experiences, desires, fears, or dreams are more important than focus points or megapixels. And all that talk to introduce you to this week’s inspiring photo: “Scarlet Nightmare” by Airos Kry. A photo that I don’t like. Yes, yes, you read that right. I don’t like it because I really like photos of harmony, beauty, beautiful things and that’s what I like to surround myself with, but I chose this photo because, despite that, it impressed me and I like it, a lot. He managed to awaken in me a feeling of fear, of horror and that is clearly what Airos means with his photo. It is amazing how the red that produced so much calm in last week’s photograph, and from which Airos was inspired, causes so much discomfort and terror here. A very well technically executed image in which all the details have been taken care of. The vignetting, the only three colors (white, red and black), not respecting the law of the gaze to increase the feeling of anguish, the makeup, the staging? There is nothing random. Congratulations on this chilling photo!
What inspires you? Fear, narrative photography, portrait, black and white image or monochrome, what are you worried about?Surprise us!
Here are this week’s disturbing photos, a little yuyu, right?
Tomorrow, a new call where we will reveal the inspiring photograph on which to work this week, for now, which one worries you most?
