Today I give the keyboard to Ricardo S. Romon Villar who, as a guest author, introduces us to the world of photographic projects, I hope you enjoy this article and it is useful to you.
In photography there is something called photographic projects, which consist simply of a set of photos that have something in common, or that are part of a personal project that can understand the most diverse things, we all know the famous project 365, of which we have two options: one photo a day for a year, or choose 365 photos that you took that year. The first is much more complicated than the second; but still, both are difficult and tend to end up being exhausting. While this is a good practice exercise, it’s not what I’m here to talk about today.
- There are other projects that are more enjoyable and affordable for people who have more responsibilities and less material time during the day.
- I will propose three fun projects.
It simply consists of taking an associated snapshot, titled or in which one of the letters of the alphabet appears, until we complete them all, so we are talking about 27 photographs (if you use the Spanish alphabet) in which we have to link the previous plane to a letter. It’s a good way to train with your camera and also to stimulate your imagination.
I don’t know if his name is really that, or even if someone considers it a project, but I find it worthy, it’s just a matter of taking a picture of your feet in different places, these can be places to walk every day, in your village, village, etc. or if you’re a traveling soul, you can take a picture at your feet in each of the places you visit, it won’t improve your photographic technique too much, but it’s a fun way to put your flag in every place where you’ve been
With a title also invented, this project would consist of taking photographs of everyday facts of our lives, but with toys, stuffed animals or badges, anything you can imagine that may seem minimalist will work. We’ve all seen pictures of Lego, working, stuffed animals sitting on the couch watching TV or the famous Danbo doing his thing. The difficulty in this case is that photographing toys is not always easy, having to resort to techniques like him?Strobist?sometimes to improve the results.
As you can see, you can do projects with countless things, these are not the only ones, we can offer dozens of them for each of us, and after all, it is the illusion of doing what counts, remember that photography is for many of us a hobby, to have fun above all.
Do you know another interesting project?
