Canon has updated its DSLR range for “professional consumers”. (“Prosumer”) with the EOS 80D, which offers a new 24.2 MP APS-C sensor, 45 points for all crossover autofocus modules, Dual Pixel AF update for direct photo viewing and video recording, plus Wi-Fi with NFC.
Canon further states that its new AF module, which is a significant improvement of the Canon 70D camera’s 19-point system, is capable of focusing in low light conditions up to the -3 EV limit at the center point.Continuous focus and all pixels are able to detect phase focus, while still being used to create still images.Video recording is offered in enhanced 1080/60p.
