Brazilian photographer Jr. Luz, 38, from Florian-polis (SC), is on a trip to represent Brazil at the Louvre Museum in Paris. Featured in international creative photography, the Brazilian will exhibit three works from his collection, from 18 to 18 October. 20 this year.

October is traditionally the month in which artists from all over the world perform in the Carrousel du Louvre, an underground space of the museum, which includes the famous work The Inverted Pyramid. The Louvre Museum is the largest art museum in the world.
Photographer Jr. Luz will present three of his works at the exhibition. “It was a great sacrifice to do a self-healing, choose the theme and images I would exhibit, but in the end I came up with a result that I only consider,” he reveals. The photographs chosen by the photographer will aim to portray Brazil through its originalities.
The first work is entitled “Tribu Brasileña”, made in 2018 with leaves of trees native to the island of Florian-polis (SC), and inspired by the indigenous tribes of Brazil. “This image is special because every time I passed through this tree in my neighborhood, I imagined a head between the leaves, after two years of going I encouraged myself and asked the owner to let me take some leaves, with the sheets I stuck them one by one on a canvas and made a hole in the middle to fit in a person’s face? The second work was called “Veil of Mystery”, 2017, one of the photographer’s most famous. Very curious and blunt photo. “I have always dreamed of visiting the Amazon and being able to take a photo with a mannequin surrounded by water lilies. Born in Goiania (GO) and at the age of eight in the profession, photographer Jr. Luz is considered one of the most inventive photographers in the field of photographic essays, he runs one of the most important creative and photographic innovation workshops in Brazil.
