Brazilian photographer at the Louvre museum in Paris

Photographer Jr. Luz will present three of his works at the exhibition. “It was a great sacrifice to do a self-healing, choose the theme and images I would exhibit, but in the end I came up with a result that I only consider,” he reveals. The photographs chosen by the photographer will aim to portray Brazil through its originalities.

The first work is entitled “Tribu Brasileña”, made in 2018 with leaves of trees native to the island of Florian-polis (SC), and inspired by the indigenous tribes of Brazil. “This image is special because every time I passed through this tree in my neighborhood, I imagined a head between the leaves, after two years of going I encouraged myself and asked the owner to let me take some leaves, with the sheets I stuck them one by one on a canvas and made a hole in the middle to fit in a person’s face?
