Do you want to become a PHOTOGRAPHy PROFESSIONAL?
Because?
- Have you ever thought about what it means to be a professional photographer? Many times.
- We confuse terms and concepts.
- Today I would like to have a relaxed talk (I invite you to participate through the comments.
- As usual) on this topic.
- To see if we think the same thing.
Often, the use of the word “amateur” suffers from completely false nuances. We often use the word “amateur” to refer to very low-level craftsmanship that lacks quality. Phrases like “They’re just amateurs” or “You’re just a poor fan” seem negative to us. And they are.
But in photography, the subject is a little different
In photography, there are 3 types of profiles:
This is the guy who has no idea about photography but doesn’t even want to bother learning concepts, techniques. You don’t even need an SLR camera. The compact camera is enough for you and you can only use it once or twice. a year to take pictures of parties, birthdays and nothing else.
It usually has an SLR camera. It doesn’t have to be a very expensive or elaborate camera, besides, sometimes it is possible to find this profile with only a compact camera, the fact is that the amateur photographer has sensitivity to photography, light, scenes. You learn things gradually. You are attracted to SLR cameras, but since it is just a hobby and does not bring you any economic benefit, you cannot invest much in very expensive photographic equipment, of course you feel great satisfaction when you take a photo worthy of praise. likes photography but only as a “pastime. “At most, you could try to participate in a photography contest and maybe earn a small amount of money, but you’re not really doing the monthly floor with your camera.
Generally he loves photography, or at least loved it at some point in his life, his main reason for having a SLR camera is to be able to earn a salary, that is, he works in photography, he has a studio or at least rents one, specializes in portrait and model photography, either in weddings and communions, or in documentary and journalistic photography. He runs very expensive equipment because his profession requires it and because he can afford it.
As you can see, there are 3 totally different profiles and that’s why each profile has a suitable camera. Unless you are rich and have a lot of money, why do you want a Nikon D3x SLR camera of 25 megapixels and 6000 euros (real price?, isn’t that a joke)? Many times I hear people say, “Do I want to buy a professional camera?”and I think “for what?” If the love that joins you to photography is a pure hobby, what good is a resolution of 20 megapixels, an ISO of 24,000 and a telephoto lens of 600 mm?What do you think? I would like to read your opinions below, please.
Good picture.
