11 impossible-to-resist and highly photographic Christmas destinations (which is your favorite?)

I don’t know about you, but when I think of Christmas destinations, I think of snow, cold, gloves, hats, pink cheeks, light-decorated fir trees, Christmas markets with hot wine, mistlede, belenes, biscuits and Christmas decorations.

I guess Christmas is different for each of us. Some of you are probably celebrating with suspenders and a dip in the pool. Here Christmas is cold, days are short but full of light and stoves and fireplaces smoke all day.

  • And although my Christmas corresponds (with less snow than I would like) more or less to the typical Hollywood image.
  • I know that for many it is very different.
  • However.
  • I believe in the common imagination.
  • And this is the most characteristic stamp of these dates.

Therefore, I have selected some destinations to visit if we want to soak up the most classic Christmas, that of cinema, that of many of us or the one that many of us would like to feel and navigate (and above all photograph) at least once in a lifetime ?.

This is my favorite destination and the one I always wanted to meet someday :-). Rovaniemi is the Christmas destination par excellence that includes nothing more or less than being able to meet the real Santa Claus live;), sledding, snowshoeing, an idyllic snowy wooden village, surrounded by forests and activities to do with the little ones of the house (and without them too ;-)) Without forgetting the Northern Lights?

Now, since we are not the only ones to know, there are many people, some are waiting, and the prices of the accommodation are multiplied by 3 and 4 on these dates, I would pay the price, but if you can not bear the load, it is better to look for a quieter place :).

Another destination to go with children at Christmas is Disneyland Paris, if it is already magical for them at any time of the year, I dare say that at Christmas it becomes even more beautiful and magical, with Christmas lights and decorations everywhere, Christmas carols and even its snowy landscape, this appears to be a one hundred percent successful destination.

It is the largest city in northern Norway, surrounded by an idyllic setting, with snow, cold, Christmas markets, carols, plenty of nightlife, gastronomic richness and a million opportunities for lovers of adventure and nature. Not forgetting the opportunity to contemplate the wonderful Northern Lights ?.

Prague is one of those cities of great beauty all year round, but if you are one of those who are not afraid of the cold, in winter it is a magical beauty. Covered in snow, with its Christmas markets full of warm lights, with its beautiful squares and bridges, and beautiful architecture, it is a safe bet.

Another wonder to visit at any time of the year, but I think in winter it has a special magic. Its markets and Christmas fairs are spectacular (do they even decorate trams with lights?). Ice skating, swimming in open hot pools, sledding and enjoying its delicious gastronomy are just some of the things this fascinating city has to offer.

Another city of old Europe that pleases the eye and that becomes particularly beautiful at that moment. Its imposing town hall, parliament, churches, opera or simply strolling among the lights and the Christmas markets that adorn this beautiful snowy city, will make you fall in love love.

Another wonder for the eyes and ears is this Austrian city, the city where Mozart was born and his “silent night”.

This is one of the most fascinating cities I have ever had the opportunity to visit (but not at Christmas) and to which I would like to return a million times, one of them, no doubt, at Christmas;). Ice skating at Rockefeller Center, different tree lights, Christmas markets, wonderful shows, display cases that are wonderful in themselves or the decoration of their suburban homes?

If you are a fan of Christmas markets, Nuremberg is probably one of the best known and with a tradition of 4 centuries, almost nothing.

He boasts of having one of the most beautiful lights in the world, a colorful festival that intoxicates the senses and surely deserves a trip to photograph it ?.

If you are one of those who are fleeing the cold and want to enjoy a not so classic Christmas, you also have the opportunity to go to Rio, where you can contemplate the ignition of the Lagoa Christmas tree (85m), the Presépios festival. with its live-scale nurseries, or get to know Vila do Papai Noel.

I know that every place at Christmas is magical and full of light, good wishes, gifts and lots of family and friends. In fact, anywhere dyes magic at Christmas. I know that the “goat pulls the mountain” and that my selection is very European, but that is what I know best;), so if you have better options, suggestions or other contributions, we will be delighted and delighted that you complement this article in comments Do you dare? Thanks a lot.
